Character Design - Digital painting (Starwars theme)


In this video tutorial dedicated to Photoshop Digital Painting, we will discuss the creation of a character in the Star Wars universe, a Sith assassin. You will learn how to create a character for video game or film industry.

In this video tutorial we will see the creative process starting from paper sketches to finalized on Photoshop. We will focus on the character's background and coherence in this pre-existing universe. This is an opportunity to see how the mood of our assassin is reflected in its design. We will have the opportunity to pursue advanced lighting concepts for a realistic rendering and processing of different materials (metal, leather etc ..).

Digital painting techniques will be detailed as well as anatomy and rendering.
